hi to everyone who helped me out with advice re: ferrets in nz.  i adopted
a 3 1/2 (?) year old "loner" a few days ago, so we're still adjusting, but
she's adored already : )
 
having some minor problems with nipping and litter accuracy, but we'll
get there (without nose slaps or scruffing).  she's chuckled/clucked and
bouced around a bit, so hopefully this means she's having fun.  anyhoo,
