Has anyone elses' ferrets had this? Trina has had it twice, and Teri had
it once. There's a bacteria in their intestines thats' supposed to be
there, but sometimes their body produces too much and it gives them
diarrhea. If you look at a stool sample under the microscope, you'll see
a whole bunch of purple rods, and there should only be a few. She's on
amoxyicillan (sp?) and it will clear up in a few days, but why is she
getting it? Tessa and Sugar don't have it, and they haven't been around
any other animals for the last 6 weeks. They haven't even been outside
recently, except to go to the vet. Where is it coming from?
