I recently bought a harness and leash (specially designed for ferrets, and
adjustable to any size) for Dexter.

Is it ok to get them started on this as kits, or should I wait till he's
older, more relaxed, more settled in etc?

I've tried him with it a few times, he *hates* it. He will bite the harness
and struggle to get out... He will also bite me but he never bites hard,
just nips. Is it just because he's not used to it, and I should get him
used to it, or should I wait longer? It's very hard to get a harness onto
a struggling ferret :)
