I have been hearing more talk on collars and shrinking.  When ever I
bought a (nylon) collar for a pet, I pre-shrank it before fitting the
animal.  I usually just wash it in the machine, then toss it in the dryer
to make sure it is as small as it is going to get, then put it on my
pet.  It was my mother's idea.
