I have had a ferret rescue/shelter in Auburn, Washington for four years
and this is the first time someone has had a itchy, red eye, asthmatic
reaction after taking the ferrets home (but not while at the shelter).
Have any of you had any experience with this?  I wonder if it is the
potty pellets they got, the dust on their fur.......I'm at a loss.
 
I would appreciate any input.
