Please be aware that prednisone can cause elevated blood sugar levels
(Diabetes) in ferrets.  If you are treating your ferret with this drug, it
could be the cause or a great contributing factor to the problem.  Please
discuss the possibility with your vet- *do not* simply stop using
prednisone without your vet's approval!  : )
