And the sad part is, that is probably a good price for New York. I know
there is a great vet in NJ, and maybe Vickie Mc. from the AFA can tell
you. Or Sally H. I do believe someone uses him. I am not sure where
he is located. But he also is not cheap. The cheapest thing to do, it
to drive to Phila to Horsham Vet clinic. Or Harleysville to the vet
clinic there. Even with gas prices, the vet still will be cheaper then
in NY or NJ. And the vets are both very familiar with ferrets. Dr.
Wagner is the one you want to see in Harleysville, and Dr. Anna Edling
is the one you want to see in Horsham. I can give you both those phone
numbers if this is something she would consider. It take about 2 1/2
hours for me to get to NYC, so she is looking at about a 3-3 1/2 hour
drive, but if she is going to save herself $1000 bucks, it is worth it
to save her pet.
