This question keeps appearing in the newsgroups and mailing lists.
 
Yes they play together but only until the ferret kills the rabbit.
 
I use my ferrets to hunt rabbits and they are very efficient killers if
they manage to catch one, even the docile ferrets I hand to children to
play with.
 
Why do people keep asking whether predators and prey animals can live in
harmony.  Would you put a cat in a cage with a canary?
