I read in last night's FML about pet litter wood pellets selling for
$10.00 per 20 pound bag. Gads, that is way too much to spend for wood
pellets!

Wood pellets for pellet burning stoves sells for 3 to 5 dollars for a 40
pound bag. That is substantially cheaper....for the same thing.

For Floridians, if you can't find the pellets at a hardware store near
you, look for stove and fireplace dealers in your Yellow Pages. They
will sell it, probably a might more expensive...$6.00 per 40 pound bag.

It IS a seasonal product but now is the time to start looking for it.
The brand Home Depot carries on the East Coast is called 'Stove Chow'.
Go and ask any store to look for the SKU for that brand name. Ask them
about ordering it in for you. It usually comes on a 2000 pound pallet,
50 bags. Do you know any other ferret owners? Get a number of your
ferret friends together to buy a pallet...many stores will special order
that amount for you.

Best of luck!
