Dry Ferret Foot pads:
 
With regards to dry ferret foot pads, I once read that you
should put some (a tablespoon, teaspoon?) vegetable oil in
their food and that will help their foot pads heal.  I read
it in one of my *many* ferret books (I think I've got every
single one I could find).
