For anyone needing a glucose monitor for their ferrets, I have heard,
that Freestyle is very good, and Walgreens has a coupon in their book
(not the flyer, in the paper, but the special book, that you can find at
the door, with refunds, and other coupons, for specials a free monitor
($74.99) with the purchase of 100 lancets, ($11.99) , all you pay is the
tax on the monitor, and the coupon price up to $74.99 is deducted right
at the register.  This is the 2nd time I have seen this special offered,
and it expires on 29 November, I believe, don't have my coupon anymore so
I am guessing.  I picked up 2 to send to friends, already and have my
own.  I just wanted to let you all know that it is available, they run
specials on the monitors, and if you miss this one, just keep watching
for it, a few months and they may run it again.  If you do the math, it
is worth the investment, considering what your vet will charge for a
visit per ferret, to check their bg for you.
