The reddish colored ants, are they also called fire ants?  Every now and
then we get them and I wanted to try the salt.  What we really have a
problem with are those BIG, black, what we always called army ants.  I think
they're also known as carpenter ants.  As far as I know they don't bite, but
they are a real nuisance.  Do you know if salt works for those?  They are
everywhere here (Louisiana)!
