Mookie and Cecil can do the roll-over.  It wasn't difficult to teach them.
I started with Mookie.  I just held a treat (Cheerio) between my fingers, in
front of his nose, so he knew it was there but couldn't get it.  Then, while
gently pushing him over on his right side, I swung the Cheerio around
counter-clockwise so his head followed it, and he completed the roll
naturally.  Then he got the treat.  I did this a few times in a row each day
for about 3 days, until he finally rolled over without getting the manual
start.  He still remembers to roll if he doesn't get his treat right away.
 
I then tried it with Cecil, and it took him about 2 Cheerios to get the idea
right away.  He's become a mad roller, and will roll to try to get anything
he can't get himself.  He rolls for treats, or to get us to open a door, or
when he's fighting with one of the others.  One time I didn't give him his
treat right away, so he rolled 6 times in quick succession until he finally
got it.
 
Psycho and Cocoa won't learn.  Psycho's attention span is too short - he
can't concentrate on anything except potatoes for any length of time, and
Cocoa is just too sophisticated to demean herself for something as trivial
as a reward.  Much more satifying to climb up somewhere and knock down
something fragile or liquid-filled.
