What an interesting survey--how many times does your ferret poof--I guess
that's the word.
 
My little female never has.  But Rocki, my male is another story.  He was
a "whole ferret" when I got him and I had my local vet descent and neuter
him.  I guess perhaps there is a little bit of scent gland that he missed.
It only happens on a rare occasion.  Usually when I'm all dressed to go out
and he's sleeping and I pick him up to pet his while he's on my shoulder
and poof, then.........you have to change your clothes.  LOVE THOSE
FERRETS!!
