Did you have your vet check her ears for mites or infection?  Often when
ferrets have a foul odor, it is comming from their ears.  Have your vet
do a swab of his ears and look at it under the microscope.  If he finds
mites, they can be cured with ear drops, a shot of ivermectin every two
weeks for three doses or by applying Revolution.
