we took him back to the vet yesterday...[thursday...4/3/03]
 
they pulled blood again on him..and gave him a pain shot...[and sent me
home with more pain meds mixed in some Hi-Vite...for IF he needs them]...
he was out of it all night...worried the poop out of me... but he is
better this morning... and he ate for me on his own!!...well, me holding
the bowl of gravy and him on my lap..but he did the eating by
himself..;-)
 
 ...that is SUCH a relief..as he had hardly had anything for 24 hours...
only the few cc's we had forced down him...i hope this means he is
turning the corner... he was still drinking water on his own...that was
good...
 
does anyone know more reasons than an ulcer for a ferret grinding his
teeth for EVERYTHING?..and i mean everything...getting ferretone,
drinking water, getting meds, eating...anything!...he stools are not
dark...he is on carafate 3 times a day...we are pretty sure there is
no ulcer...but can not figure out why he always grinds his teeth...
 
k...that is all for now...but he seems better so far today...[it is only
7 a.m....;-)
 
dr. beer will call me today with the blood test results..if they come
back today...
