For FLEAS in Florida. Our vet allows us to use the ADAMS flea shampoo
for dogs and cats. BUT this should not be used more than once a month.
For weekly baths use a good ferret shampoo. Where are you fuzzies kept
if kept in the house you now have a house problem and the house and ferrets
must be treated at the same time. There are many flea sprays on the
market which can be used in your home - be sure and get the spray from
a Vet. Do you have a vet (I ask this because of your original question)>
If you are anywhere near Vero Beach, FL our Chapter Vet is Dr. Brenda
Ernest of Westside Animal Hospital (407-562-0666). If you do not have
a vet for your fuzz love it is VERY IMPORTANT you find one. There are
many good ones in Florida. If you tell me what city you are in I
will locate a vet for you. Signed Chere McCoy President Ferret Friends
of Indian River County.
