Help getting ferret to take flagyl

Hello,

I have a ferret named Pickles. He is close to 4 and an albino. He has
a GI problem. Th vet put him on flagyl and amoxy. Pickles has been
takking the liquid form of the flagyl. We are lucky if he gets half in
him. We have tried mixing the meds, mixing the flagyl with ferret tone.
Pickles fights, shaks his head, urinates, poops, or spits it back at
me and husband. We tried the pills, too.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
