Yesterday I was calling airlines to find out shipping prices.  I had called
USAir & found they had a really good price.  I inquired on carrier
requirements.  I was told by the guy that they had to be sent in wooden
crates.  No pet carriers as they can (I kid you not he actually said this!)
*chew* through them!  He also told me a story another guy had told him about
a ferret "slithering" out of the carrier.  I tried really had not to laugh!
A few times I had to push the mute button on the phone!
 
So when did ferrets learn to slither?
