In light of the 24 K Ferret shelter & Rescue's problems and in light of our
own, we have decided to do another auction to help the 24 K shelter and to
help us keep the doors of our shelter open.
 
Here in Toronto, there is really no safe place for ferrets to go except
here.  Most other shelters euthanise ferrets after a period of time if they
are not adopted.  I don't want to loose my house/shelter, but times are
really rough right now and an auction is the only way I can see to help out.
 
As for the 24K shelter, loosing a SO is rough especially when he's footing
so many bills.  We can't loose another shelter for lack of funding.  I
would like to split the auction 50/50 with CJ (if that's ok with her) and
this way hopefully help her out too.
