To whoever in New Jersey was considering getting the biter from the pet store
(sorry, I stupidly deleted last week's e-mail):

Our Luci came from an identical situation, i.e. too long in the store,
non-socialised, and the owner wouldn't part unless we paid full price.
Tamarah and I bit the bullet and paid $150 for her while cursing the owner.
It took time, but Luci is now well adjusted and happy. Yes, there was
blood, all mine, but the time and pain, also mine, were worth it. I advise
that you, too, bite the bullet and save the little one. Obviously, the
owner doesn't care about the ferret and if you don't get him, he's not
likely to get another caring home. If you need advise on dealing with him,
contact me directly any time. Good-luck.

Some of the ferrets from Manitoba are Rolf C. Hagen ferrets and are raised
in or near Melita, Manitoba. They are treated by Antler River Veterinary
Services and are fixed, descented, and tattooed before distribution. They
also come with complete records and the best ferret owner information
notice my vets or I have seen. I believe two other farms exist, but I have
no information on them.
