I, too, am afraid to see another Skeeter letter.  It means that another
ferret has died.  And that is both sad and scary.  When I read Skeeters
posts, my heart jumps up in my throat, it has nothing to do about a
fictional character trying to bring comfort to someone that has just lost a
ferret.  It has to do with death being real, the ferrets don't really have
a long lifespan, they deserve much more.  Many birds, fish, turtles, etc.
have long life spans, but here is a little creature that we do our best to
make sure they have the best medical care, best food, and they are plagued
with many diseases.  So, yes, Skeeter is scary.  But I believe the person
behind Skeeter is all heart, and just trying to ease the grieving of others.
