Fish and Game 13, Ferret lovers 0

This evening, a friend of ours, Mark, came home to find Fish and Game
camped out in front of his house. According to his neighbors, they had
been there for several hours, waiting for him. Mark was running a half-way
house for rescues in the foothills by Fresno, CA. He got caught with 13
ferrets in his possession. It is still unclear as to how the Fish Fuzz
became aware of the operation. They were still waiting for their search
warrant to arrive, but Mark decided to surrender the ferrets, as the Fish
Fuzz had the front and back door of his mobile home blocked and it was only
a matter of time for the search warrant to arrive. He surrendered them
with the warden's promise to let him ship the ferrets out of state and
not euthanize them. I HOPE THEY WILL KEEP THEIR PROMISE!!

Does anyone know of any attorney's willing to help out or even
knowledgeable with ferret cases in California? Our attorney has since
retired and isn't available anymore.

Any suggestions or help would be welcomed. Please contact me or e-mail
Mark directly. His e-mail: [log in to unmask] or ICQ him at 19668314.

Thanks for all your help.

Ilona, Ferretless in CA
