So now we have a new problem with the Fester man. As you may recall he
had a very violent reaction to his last set of vaccinations. Well I
took him to the vet last week because he has started putting on the
weight, doesn't want to play, just sleeps and eats, seems to be short
of breath. Diagnosed as having congestive heart failure, sent home on
lasix twice a day. Took him back this week, lungs sound clearer but
he has become a fat boy. Now we cant determine if he has some residual
damage from the heart failure or perhaps threw an embolism. At this
rate he will be bigger than a cat. He has put on a pound in a month.
Now I cant say if he is short of breath because of a medical problem
or because he is so fat. Help. I have tried walking him and he walks
a few yards then lays down panting. He is only 3 years old and I am
absolutely hating this. He goes back to the vet next week again. Any
suggestions on what to do. He cages with two others so rationing is
out.

Kim
