Monday April 10,2000 Iwent to Dr. Feldmans office at 7:30 am to get the
report on his findings regarding the two little girl who had their teeth
clipped and had the roots exposed. If I may Quote" It is abhorrent to me
to concieve of the possibility that someone would intentionally inflict
such cruelty on an animal, but in these particulat animals, it was quite
evident that their injuries were just that, intentional and cruel." said
DR. Feldman in his findinngs and letter to the animal control agency. I
quivered with glee while reading it, knowing that it was going to affect
somebody enough to do something about this lady who so cruelly hurt these
two little jills.

When I took the two jills in to the animal shelter for examination, with
Dr. Feldman's report, I was brusquely informed that Iwould be surrendering
them to the animal control so they could return them to their owner.
Immediately, my hackles rose and I challenged the officer and told him I
wanted to see his superior. the guy was just a trianee I was informed and
when I explained to Kim the shelter director that I was upset because "he"
wanted to sieze the ferrets and give them back, she called him and said no
way was he going to do anything of the sort. I knew I had friends at the
shelter for my work in the community with ferrets, but this was incredible!
She explained that I was going to take the ferrets back to the shelter
with me, and that if the lady wanted them from me, she would have to sue me
in court to get them back, that this issue was out of their jurisdiction.
I chimed in, I'm going to make her dance around a bush 50 times whil I'm
at it. Went back to the shelter and reported the incident to Jeffco
authorities and started an investigation. Later, several animal control
agencies called me to inform me that this lady had been on their "list" for
quite some time and after being admonished by a judge in Arvada that she
would be mandatorily inspected without notice at least 6 times a year, she
moved with out telling anyone where she was.Now they all know where she is
and are cooperating in a joint venture to pick up where they all left off.

Will keep you all informed on the progress of this investigation--stay
tuned-same channel-next day!!!
