HELP!  Our new little boy, Piper, has become nothing but a terror.  He dives
onto the end table and bowls over the telephone, caller ID and photo
frames...He is trying to eat the buttons off the cable control box...He
unrolls all of the toilet paper...he digs in his food...
 
My SO and I are at our wits end.  Although we know that we have to ferret
proof, we draw the line at keeping all of our belongings locked in the
closet.
 
We have tried everything to discourage this behavior:  scolding,
thumping, time-out, treats for being good, new toys for entertainment...we
don't know what else to do.  Sometimes I spend all of his play time chasing
him around and telling him no, I feel like I'm the one being bad; not him.
