I took Samson in for a radiograph of his esophagus Monday and the vet
found no signs of megaespagus. That would be great news if he had an
answer as to why Samson cannot hold down his food. Dr. Smith put Samson
back on Amoxil and Pepto for two weeks twice a day. I am feeding Samson
a liquid diet three times a day in an upright position to keep him from
throwing up. Each time I feed him his stomach makes a noise as though it
is empty. I keep Sam in the upright position for at least ten minutes
after his feeding so he will not throw up. Dr. Smith said if Samson is
not better after the two weeks is up we will do the barium test. I wish
we would do it now so I would have an answer.

Thanks for all the emails about Samson. I will keep the FML posted.

Carol
