Hey All,

I am writing for help from anyone who has had a similar set of
circumstances.

My sweetie Rinkydink is sick. She just got over the flu and pnuewmonia, a
very serious and scary time for us. She was recovered for one or two days
and then she started acting very depressed. She comes out of her cage and
wants to just curl up on the bed and watch everything. No interest in
playing, hisses at the other ferrets to keep them at bay. She is awake
and alert but does not want to participate. She is eating good and pooping
just fine. In a one week period she threw up twice. Both time it was
kibble, not liquid.

She has been to the vet, had xrays (they show nothing) and had a cbc.
Her glucose is 106 so it is not a sugar problem. Her bloodwork is normal
except for a high white cell count. The vet is stumped and has put her
info up on the vin (vet info net) to see if anyone has come across anything
like this.

I know there are thousand of subscribers to this list. Has anyone had
symptoms similar to these. It is heartbreaking to watch such a joyous
creature act so sad and despondant.

Thanks in advance,

Karen, Jubilee, Rinkydink, BigFun and Sterling
