i put my 6 year old male, reggie, down two weeks ago.  i ran out of ideas
to try and aleviate the symptoms of his insulinoma, and i couldn't watch
him suffer anymore.  needless to say, it was a very difficult decision to
make.  i greatly appreciate the guidance i received on the FAIML listserv
and the miamiferret and ferretcentral websites.  without it, i would never
have known to alter his diet and feeding schedule when he was first
diagnosed.
 
his lifelong companion, rhea, is adjusting well.  she's alone much of the
time, though.  it would be nice if she could meet some new ferret faces..
i live in tallahassee if anyone wants to get together for some ferret
