Good idea, silverfert. :)  I have a tip to share that another has shared
with me, mostly dealing with traveling and hotel rooms, but can apply to
any room/situation.  It could be common sense, but hey, I'll say it
anyways.  :)
 
- Get down at the ferret's eye view and go around on all fours looking
for anything that a ferret could squeeze into, get stuck in, etc..  This
applies not only in a hotel room, but in any room really.  I found out
about holes in a bed mattress at a hotel I took my fuzzies to this way,
and prevented them from possibly becoming crushed.
