At one time we had 12 ferrets but now we are down to 3 One is 7 years
old with adrenal disease, Insulinoma, and nerver problems in his hips.
The second is 6 almost 7 in good shape but I believe he has adrenal
disease (he will get a deslorin Implant on Friday. The third is a deaf
girl between 5 and 6 and in good health. Our 7 year old is looking
pretty rough, he has trouble going to the rest room. He can still get
around but you can tell he has problems working his legs. We are trying
some lazer treatments on his hips and legs and in some ways he looks
better and others he looks worse. I don't think it will be very long
before we will have to help him over the bridge which will leave us
with 2.

My question is what to do when we get down to one. I don't want the
last ferret to be lonely but we don't want to get any more ferrets Has
anyone else faced this problem and what do we do about it. We have a
while before we get to one because 2 are pretty healthy. I was just
thinking ahead so we can be prepared.

Thanks

Mike
