TLE,
I'm sorry to be so late in responding - new baby & new man have ke[t me
verrry busy!

We named the albino jill Heidi for her habit of hiding out for hours on end.
She is adjusting wonderfully to my menagerie, and they to her. Poor little
bit, she had both fleas and mites from the trip, but has cleaned up
beautifully. Her coat is full and fluffy now. She just gleams in the
sunlight.

Heidi war dances with the best of my crew. Her energy is amazing. We keep
her travel cage on the floor of the living room, stocked with food & water &
open for her to get in & out, but she's learned to east from food dishes and
drink from the water bowl. She'll use 'her' litter box, but has designated
a corner in front of the fridge as an alternate potty site. Sigh. We're
working on it.

She & I have regular discussions aboutr biting. She likes ankles. A firm
'no' gets her attention & she's gotten much better. She's learned licking
gets my attention & I get lots of little Heidi kisses now. For a while she
kept trying to grab my finger & tote me off to her hidey-hole. I think
she's given up that project.

Her health is excellent - oh, tle, can you send me any health records there
may be on her? Jan called to warn me her babies had 'giardia?'(sp?), but
Heidi seems to have gotten away unscathed - firm stools, eating & active.

She plays with the dog, rules the cat & bosses the other 3 ferrets. She's
plump, happy, and a joy to live with. I don't have the words to say how
grateful I am to have been a part of this rescue mission, and how humbled I
am by the love in action all involved showed. What a blessing I've been
given.

Best love,
Paula
