After having to replace two sofas, we decided it was time for something
ferret-proof......a futon.  I didn't want the simple, plain black wrought
iron style, so we started searching for something else more along the
line of a contemporary sofa-style futon.  We were very fortunate to find
JUST what we were looking for at Sam's Wholesale Club.  It is a beautiful,
heavy, solid oak futon with built-in magazine holders on each end.  Also,
the arms open to provide storage for your remotes.  The mattress actually
has springs in it, rather than your basic stuffed one that is so
uncomfortable.  And, if you don't like the cover, you can always purchase
one to your liking.
 
There are LOTS of places online that sell them.  And get this........The
futon with mattress was a little over $400.  Not a bad price to have a
sofa that doesn't smell like ferret poop!  LOL The fuzzies are not the
LEAST interested in it.........There's nowhere to hide!  Also, we found
out later online that if we purchased the frame alone at this particular
company that it was almost $800!  So, the deal at Sam's is truly a good
one!  Plus, it looks great in our living room!
