Hello to all,

This is George and Grizzly's owner Alison. I have posted here more than a
few times. I would just like you all to know that my parents have taken
in 2 ferrets that weren't taken out of their cage very often, were 2 years
old, NEVER to the vet, and that were fed cat food because the lady never
took time to find them proper food. (And my parents wouldn't let me have
any ferrets when I lived here!)

They got them on Feb. 27th. The female is a dark-eyed albino. The male
a coon colored (forgot the color name)

We ALL found out the first day that Stevie is a biter. She bit me twice
while going to put her water dish in (she didn't wanna let go) She got my
mom in the face when she was down on the floor (she was hanging off as my
mom was getting up) and she bit my dad on the hand. All in the same day.
She is alot better now about biting.

She got her name from me actually. My mom really likes Stevie Knicks.
She has wanted to call a couple of the animals that and we've diswayed her
from it. I mentioned to my dad saying that I thought it was funny that
she hadn't called her that yet. Dad talked to mom and that's all it took!
(Darn!)

Stevie got sick a couple of days ago (not sure what it was, she had
swollen glands, sore thorat, and was shaking) and is now on medicine.
She's trying to fight back.

No matter how much they may bite or fight, you can tell that their new
owners love those fuzzies dearly and I'm glad that they are in such a
good home now. We have realized though, that they are not MF ferrets.
There are NO tattoos in their ears whatsoever.

Doc is very lovable, he's a big gallout just like George. But he seems
more calm and laid back than my 'monster'

George and Grizzly had their first playdate with the 2. It was on
Saturday. Doc and Stevie were more than willing to gang up on George and
Gizzy. I felt so bad. (Maybe George and Grizzly found out there not top
ferts anymore?) Also when we had to put them away in their 'condo'
(Thanks to Candi!) they all ended up sleeping together.

My dad and I have a yet another play date with Kim and Wendall's fuzzies
on the 17th of this month. Even more ferts for Sammy, Luke and Camile.
It should be interesting with 3 different sets of ferrets to watch.

Being the PROUD owner that I am, I decided to post my pictures of George
and Grizzly on the web. This is the website you can go to.

[Moderator's note: Doesn't work for me, says it's restricted area. BIG]

Is there anyone who has a suggestion how I could get my photo into a
contest for judging. I like the one of Grizzly in the camera, and I
think it would be interesting to see what other people think too?? Any
comments can be sent to [log in to unmask]

I had to answer the phone this moring just as I was getting dressed.
Trying to get into my pants, George couldn't help but attack my feet.
He's such a nut, he even got Gizzy interested and she tried to attack
my feet too.

Well that's all the nutty stories I have for now. Have some more in
about a week or so!
