I was at Mary and Chris's shelter before I knew anything about ADV.  They
let their personal ferrets out to play it was in a confined area that they
literally scrubbed surgically hospital clean before the others came out.
I spent about 4 days there.
 
Now that was 2 years ago.  All my kids including the ones that came home
with me (Moose, + the 2 elders who have since crossed the over to the
Bridge due to age) and none have come down with ADV.
 
Moose, who by the way gets his name from his size, is a very healthy young
2 year old now.
 
Please people don't judge anyone, and I mean anyone, unless you have been
there.  Remember, we are all human.  It is human to err, divine to forgive.
