I'm new to FML, and I've enjoyed reading all your postings.  I have a
question for anyone.  I made an appointment for my little muncher, and
they said I might need heartworm medication.  We live in Minnesota where
mosquitoes out number people a zillion to one.  I'm wondering if anyone
gives their ferets heartworm medication, and if so, if it's the same they
give to dogs.  I haven't been to the vet yet, so I don't know what she'll
