That's right....we are alive and kicking out here.  Yes, we lost in the
committe, but it turns out that CA senate has 2 years to pass a bill if they
choose to.  We have until 12/31/95 to get this bill past the committee that
killed us yesterday.  Then another year to get it through the senate and the
assembly (and their committees)
 
I personally and as a representative of the CDFA am very grateful for the
outpouring of support and finances that came my way via e-mail today.  It
helps, just knowing that so many care.....
 
Since we are not dead....watch the FML for posts of upcoming rallies and
marches.  WE WILL FIGHT!  Numbers count and by George, if it's numbers they
want it's numbers we'll give them.
 
Please, write to your senator and let him/her know how outraged you are about
this turn of events.  Below is a list of the Senators voting against
us....write to them too.  Unfortunately if you're not a CA resident there is
not much you can do but....if you didn't move to CA because of this
ridiculous law or you refuse to vacation here because of it...that will
help...so send these guys letters letting them know.
