Hi Everyone!
I have been wanting a ferret now for about 6 months and have been reading
everything I can get my hands on concerning ferrets.  Love this
newsletter!!!  I finally got the OK from my wife to buy one.  I know that
some of you will object to this, but I plan on buying a MF sprite from a pet
store out of state.  (MF ferrets need good homes too!) Here are my Questions:
 
(1) Most MF ferrets hit the pet store at about 6 to 8 weeks old.  Is it easy
to determine the sex of the animal at this age?  I have not seen any
information anywhere as to sexing ferrets.
 
(2) At 6 to 8 weeks old, what do you feed them?  Wet food?  Dry food?  Duck
soup?
