It was just brought to our attention that we had neglected to announce
the Special Achievement Awards that were presented at the Atlanta
Symposium!
 
Three awards were given, to three special people who have contributed
their knowledge, skill, time and heart to the ferret community for MANY
years.  They are:
 
Alicia Drakiotes for her work on legal protection for ferrets.
 
Dr. Bruce Williams for his devotion to advances in ferret health.
 
Judith White for her service to the shelter community.
 
We are lucky to have such devoted people working to benefit ferrets, and
we know there are many others out there also deserving of recognition.
They are examples for us all.
