Hi everyone thought I would let all Stephanies ferret friends know. On the
14th Stephanie went into labor which with doctors intervension was held off
to the 19th, but on the 19th at 12:57 pm Quentin Joseph Sheme entered the
world at 38 weeks. Weighing 6 pounds 12.9 ounces and 19.25 inches long. It
was very hard on Steph, she hemorraged very bad (lost almost 3 times blood
she should have) and did not get to see him for a almost a day, but she is
tough and fought and the next got to see him and feed him. Quentin had a
small breathing problem but it was mostly from the surgery and is doing
great.

She is home now but on rest for 6 weeks and watched carefully for signs of
bleeding again. The ferrets were alittle sad she was gone so many days and
I was in and out but now she is home and they are thrilled. Of course house
is not as greatly kept as when she does it but we are managing and lucky for
me the shelter has slowed down for the time.

She wanted me to post to you all though since she can not and knows many of
you know the struggle we had to get this baby and keep the pregnancy. Our
miracle is here and as beautiful as can be. And when she is up to it back
to ferret work she will be, hard to keep her down.

Anyway take care all I will check EM for her if anyone needs anything.
