Cocoa the diabetic ferret

Cocoa went in today for more glucose tests.  His levels are still high.  We
are increasing his insulin shots to 2 units 2x a day.  As to his swollen
hind feet and legs, my vet suggested an ultrasound or an exploratory.  I
opted for an exploratory.  Surgery is scheduled for Thurs.  at noon.  I'll
let you know how he does.  Keep your fingers crossed for Cocoa.
