Lots of brains out there to help with this one. Why would anyone give
Ensure, or any other sugary substance like that to an animal with
insulinoma?

I did when mine got the green slime. They were sick for over half a year.
I had them on a duck soup from THE exotic animal vet that had Ensure
written into it. There was no time limit written. So my guys drank sugar
for half a year. One died from insulinoma. Another is dying of it now.

I am reading on our FML of these soups with Ensure or Nutrical. Does
anyone knowledgable think this is a good idea? Or is this like a tasty
but slow death drink?

Even without insulinoma, I understood that Ensure was bad to give for more
than a week or two. ????

Mary of F.A.I.R. yelled at me once for putting ferretone over kibble. The
kibble becomes rancid, and the ferret sick from this, I believe.

Try what Bob C. taught us: A small amount of Ferretone in a soup bowl
filled with water. When they are done guzzling the stuff down-dump the
small bowl. I don't do it every day. I might poison them with too much
vitaminA or D. It is a special treat maybe once a week.
