>Does anyone know of a 24hr vet available in the seattle area?

The only emergency clinic we recommend is Animal Emergency & Referral
Center in Lynnwood (425)745-6745. They actually have blood donor ferrets
available.

>Also, I own a single ferret and have been thinking about getting a second.

There are two ferret shelters in the Seattle area (see below for my
shelter) and the Washington Ferret Rescue http://washingtonferret.org/
In addition, you can often find people placing an ad in the Little Nickel,
looking for homes for their ferrets.
