A few comments I've met Jean and have been to her shelter on 2or 3
different occassions, played with her ferrets and met other household
critters, most are rescues.
 
Shelters work to damned hard with too little money and resource.
 
I've been through some of the Heart of Ohio Ferret Shelters.  I've never
seen a problem more serious than a floor needing sweeping or mopped.
 
Shut up unless you decide to work as a volunteer, make a donation or
adopt and older ferret.
