PeTA's way of helping in situations like this is to simply set the
animals free - free to get attacked & killed by other animals, run
over & killed on the road, starved to death cos they can't find food,
etc.

Notice that the "e" in PeTA's logo is in lower case. That "e" is
supposed to stand for "ethical". If you want to know how "ethical"

For anyone who even sorta kinda likes animals, PeTA is exactly the
*wrong* group to get involved in anything. I refer to them as People
Entertained by the Torture of Animals. They equate the ownership of
companion animals w/ slavery. They famously were busted for taking
dogs out of animal shelters, in order to "give them good homes", only
to kill them in the back of a van & toss their bodies into dumpsters
behind malls & such.

I wouldn't let PeTA w/in 10 miles of any animal, esp one that I cared
for or wanted to help. It may just be my opinion, but the facts are
there for all to read.
