I need some advice on giving a ferret chemo. I have a 5 year old female
ferret that has just been diagnosed with cancer. The vet is suggesting
drug therapy (chemo). Has anyone dealt with a ferret having chemo? What
were the side effects? If you had to do it again, would you? I love
this little girl and would miss her dearly, but I don't want to extend
her suffering just to keep her around longer. Right now, she doesn't
appear to be in pain and is eating, though she has lost weight. Without
treatment, the vet believes she won't be able to tolerate food within a
month or so.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. I need to make a decision within a
week when we go back to the vet.
