I ran across some Gerbers *3rds* Turkey food. It has no onion/celery etc.
Just Turkey & water. It is smooth and creamy but not quite smooth enough to
put through a regular syringe. (Yes, I learned this the hard way - Henry's
porridge all over the ceiling ). Henry is eating it mixed in his porridge
off of a spoon. I think the little chunks make it more interesting for him.
And he accepts it when I add ground up kibble mixed in the recipe more
readily because of this texture I think. (I can only find it at one store
though darnit and I am going to deplete their supply soon, maybe I'll try
the frozen stuff - has anyone here made their own from scratch - is it just
a matter of putting cooked meat in a food processor ? )

Any news on Squeek? If you want some testimonials on accupuncture read
"Love, Miracles and Animal Healing". The Vet to the Stars talks about his
experience with accupuncture (and yes, he mentions ferrets a couple times -
one story is something about how a ferret [and I think he is talking Black
Footed here] kills a snake and saves him from a potentially lethal bite thus
giving him the impetus necessary to commit himself to veterinary medicine
rather than people medicine. Another story about a (domestic) ferret he and
his dog save from mothball poisoning...)
