Greetings to all,

Gary made a reference to the ferret being used for running
string=rope=cable in underground conduits. Well there are some other
uses in the aerospase industry. In a Boeing 747 there are some rather
long and large conduits running the length on the fuselage , they put the
ferret with a small line in one end and the weasel comes out the other
end then they pull the wires thru. This method was also used on the C-5A
galaxy, and the 777. This I was told to by a worker at Boeing.

BTW, even though the ferret already made the trip once they found that it
will keep going thru the conduit many times , it is either a case of the
ferret wants to help and work or they just think the path has changed .

Mark
