Hi everyone.  I live in the state of florida.
 
are there any ferret rescue shelters out there that can take in ferrets
from our local animal shelter here in lee county?  They are looking for a
ferret rescue shelter to take in the ferrets when they are unable to adopt
them out.
 
the lee county animal shelter needs references, past history, and other
specifics regarding your shelter before they will agree to let me act as
a volunteer transport to the shelter they will release them too.  (i am
willing to drive within two hours of ft.  myers to transport.)
 
Is there anyone out there that could act as a relay?  perhaps if there is a
shelter in northern florida.... is there anyone willing to drive to meet me
in the middle to get the fuzzies where ever they need to go?
 
i thought maybe we could pool together and communicate needs when they
arise to help ferrets to get to rescue shelters.
