Jeff,

I am currently being treated for metastatic malignant melanoma with an
anti-Angiogenesis drug that is experimental. Prior to going on this I was
considering using shark cartilage. My oncologist explained the theory of
shark cartilage and let me know that to get any kind or results from it I
would have to eat the equivalent of 3 sharks per day. I would think that
this would apply to ferrets also, only in a smaller way! Shark cartilage is
on the right track, an anti-Angiogenesis drug is very promising, but at this
point it has not been shown that the shark cartilage is effective enough.
